James grew up attending Catholic mass with his grandfather and had deep questions about God from early childhood. After being led to Jesus in his early 20’s, James felt the Lord drawing him to pursue a life of ministry. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership from Dallas Christian College and finished his certification for ministry from DSOM. James met Stephany at a Pastors Conference, and they have been married for nearly 10 years. They share a heart for discipleship, evangelism, and hospitality. James loves to watch their 1 year old son, Maxwell, learn, play, and grow. He enjoys warm weather and being outside, especially by water; James loves to move so much you can find him outside hiking or running, even in less-than-desirable weather. His favorite sound is a strong gust of wind rushing through the leaves in the trees. He can be found connecting with people and enjoying a lingering conversation anywhere he goes.
