Word Of Life Biblical Counseling
People are facing numerous challenges and problems in their lives. Whether you’re dealing with marital problems, parenting concerns, depression, anger, or other issues, the Bible has answers for you!
Through the study and application of God’s Word, our mission is to help counselees better understand their concerns as we walk with them on their path to become more like Jesus.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Frequently Asked Questions
Biblical counseling is counseling using the Word of God as the answer to all questions and concerns of life. It is a discipleship process in which the counselee commits to change through studying the Bible and listening to the Holy Spirit’s direction.
You can expect to hear answers from God’s Word and be encouraged to think and live in a way that pleases God. You will be treated with respect and care, and your discussions will be held in strict confidence (except in cases where there is a requirement to involve others, like cases of criminal activity, abuse, etc.).
All of our lay counselors go through a year-long training program in Biblical counseling, which includes both classroom and practical experience.
At this time, counseling is offered, by appointment, Monday through Friday.
We ask you to be willing to learn and apply God’s way of handling problems, be on time to weekly sessions, and do weekly homework assignments.
Prior to your first counseling session, you will submit a one-time, non-refundable $50 fee, which covers 12 sessions. There will be additional charges for books and other materials, if needed.
