May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
At 12 years old, Christy became a part of Bethel Tabernacle (now PCC), when her parents moved to Milwaukee to take a position as lead pastors of the church. Her involvement in children’s ministry started as a teen, helping in the nurseries and preschool classes, getting experiences to teach and work with the kids. While away at North Central University, she met Ted, and got married, before returning to Bethel, where they have served in ministry since then. Right away, she took over the existing preschool that operated out of the church. Over the past 20 plus years, she has served in leadership roles in youth ministry, young adults ministry, women’s ministry, and children’s ministry. Her current roles include Director of the Early Childhood Department and is in leadership in women’s ministry. She feels blessed to serve in each of these ministries, and is equally passionate about her involvement in both areas! It is her desire to be used of God in whatever direction that he leads.
Christy is the wife to Ted and mom to Ethan and Christian. Outside of her work, she loves her dogs, a good cup of coffee, reading great books, watching Hallmark movies, vacationing with her family, and all things Disney!
