Carmen was born in Puerto Rico in a small town called Hormigueros. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 1981. In 1982, she accepted the Lord and has never strayed. She worked as an elementary teacher before obtaining a master’s degree in counseling and another master’s degree in school administration in 2003. She served as a pastor along with her husband, Alexis, for 19 years in Puerto Rico. Carmen has a son named Roberto and three grandchildren. Carmen and Alexis currently reside in the historic town of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
